Morocco and Algeria topped the list of the Largest arm importers in Africa, followed by Sudan, a Swedish think tank said.
Most striking in this study is the fact that imports by European nations decreased by 25 percent between 2009 and 2013 while jumped 53 percent up in Africa.
In Asia, India replaced China as the world’s biggest arms buyer.
The world’s top five arms importers are now India, followed by China, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, and then Saudi Arabia.
