Het Parool, A leading media outlet in Holland, reported Geert Wilders, leader of the Dutch rightist party, saying I hope to see the Hague “with fewer taxes and, if possible, fewer Moroccans.”
Following Wilders xenophobic comments, Sidali, a Moroccan-origins Dutch politician, tweeted “Hitler is among us. In the figure of Geert Wilders. Hitler also thought that there should be fewer Jews. We will never forget that.”
Wilders did not stop at his xenophobic comment. As soon as he read Sidali’s tweet he added insult to injury tweeting back “Sidali … retracted his statement. Wise. Leaving for Morocco would be even wiser.”
