Moroccan news outlet Alraiy reported a dozen of people, in the disputed Moroccan city of Laayoune, pitching tents as a mean to protest and pressure the authorities to improve their social conditions.
Three tents were exactly pitched in the “Karkara” region, as reported by the same source.
The protesters are asking also for the “freeing” of Akdim Izik prisoners.
The source said local media in Laayoune expressed concerns over an outbreak of the situation, in case the authorities don’t answer the protesters’ demands, which may lead to a reproduction of the Akdim Izik scenario.
