The Minister in charge of Moroccans residing abroad and migration, Mr. Anis Birou, announced the organisation of the first forum to gather NGOs representing Moroccans of the World. This forum is scheduled for May,10 in Skhirat.
During this forum, more than 200 NGOs, will contribute to Dissect the weaknesses of the current partnership, to establish the foundations of a new form of collaboration, between the in-charge ministry and these NGOs.
Minister Birrou also commented that “Morocco is not considering its citizens residing abroad as a-just source of transferred currency”. In fact, Moroccans’ transfers in 2013 reached around 58 Billion US dollars.
