RABAT- Mohammed Mehdi Bensaid, Morocco’s Minister of Culture, Youth, and Communication noted a substantial engagement from Moroccans living abroad to protect Morocco’s non-material cultural heritage.
During his participation in an oral questions session at the House of Representatives on Monday, Bensaid said that this engagement “is increasing due to a media war” against Morocco initiated by “the nation’s opponents who are trying to appropriate the kingdom’s history,” referring indirectly to the Algerian media.
The minister added: “May Allah guide them, it seems that those who do not have a history are trying to adopt another one.”
