The Moroccan Ministry of Interior said yesterday that the Algerian authorities handed them over two Moroccan brothers belonging to an international criminal network.

The two brothers are suspected of drug trafficking, murder, attempted murder with firearms, kidnapping, raping, torture, and possession of arms.

The handing of the two brothers by the Algerian authorities followed an international arrest warrant issued by the Moroccan authorities.

After fleeing Morocco to Algeria, the police seized firearms from the two brothers’ locals, including a Kalashnikov and a 12 mm pistol.

It is worth recalling that one of the two brothers has also a criminal record in France.
