The Ministry of Interior urged in a statement all Moroccan citizens (living in the country and abroad) to replace their old national cards CIN with the new electronic ones (CNIE).
The deadline to do so is December 31st. The new identity card offers many advantages especially in terms of easing administrative and legal processes and requests, personal data documentation and safety of data.
In order to ease the process and get all CIN cards replaced by the deadline mentioned above, the DGSN (la Direction Générale de la Surêté Nationale) has taken all necessary measures and has put in place appropriate means and strategies in all the different cities of the kingdom and diplomatic and consular institutions abroad.
