Yesterday, few moments before the Al-maghrib Athan prayer call, a man was killed in a sad event that witnessed a deadly fight between him and another person.
An initial dispute lead to the two persons fighting with knives and sabers in the Borj Moulay Omar neighborhood of Meknes.
One of the two persons passed away after getting stabbed in his chest and his stomach.
Local police arrived quickly to the scenes after being alerted to the situation, and they were able to arrest the culprit in a matter of few minutes.
The victim was taken to a local hospital following the attack but was pronounced dead.
Borj Moulay Omar is one of the hot spots of criminality and drug cartels in Meknes. Fights are witnessed by the local population, on, a more or less, daily basis.
It is worth pointing out that this is the second murder the city of Meknés witnessed during this holy month of Ramadan, after the killing of a young person, stabbed by a man still on the loose.
