France Receives Air Algérie’s Crashed Plane Black Boxes

The black boxes from the Air Algérie crashed plane were sent to France for investigation.

Communications Minister of Mali Mahamadou Camara said that “the flight data and cockpit recorders were recovered from the remote desert crash site and handed over to French authorities in the capital Bamako,” AFP reported.

“French experts are to examine the plane’s flight data recorders and other information, including the prevailing weather conditions at the time,” he added.

It is worth pointing out that Air Algérie flight AH 5017 crashed in the surrounding areas of Mali’s Gossi desert last Thursday.

The death toll amounted to 118, from around half of the casualties are French.
