Bellarabi didn’t stop after scoring the first goal and setting the new record. Just few seconds before the final whistle, Karim assisted in the second goal, helping Kiebling netting for the very first time this season.
“I am really happy for Bellarabi,” said Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voeller. “This record is great for him. We did absolutely everything right in that first half and so did he.”
Many Moroccan football journalists are raising concerns about whether Badou Zaki will consider calling the Moroccan player to his squad team or not for the upcoming friendly games.
Zaki stated many times that the national team does not have problems in the Middlefield as much as it is suffering from defense and goalkeeping issues. Zaki might, however, consider calling the Bayer Leverkusen star if he keeps a stable level in the Bundesliga this season.
