Moroccans took to the streets last Friday in Casablanca in a massive march in solidarity with the Palestinians camping in the surroundings of the Aqsa Mosque and in protest against Israel’s persistent violations against the holy shrine of Al-Aqsa.
The protest took place at the invitation of several grassroots organizations in Morocco.
Some of the banners carried during the rally condemned Israel’s violations of the Aqsa Mosque and the passive Islamic countries role in informing their citizens about the event, which received only few media coverage, especially on the sidelines of the growing ISIS phenomenon.
