According to an article featured in today’s edition of leading Moroccan daily “Akhbar Al Yaoum,” King Mohammed VI is following from Dubai closely the ongoing investigation that was triggered following what is referred to in Morocco as the “Moulay Abdellah swimming pool scandal.”
According to the said article, the Moroccan monarch is in direct contact with General Hosni Benslimane who debriefs him on a permanent basis about the investigation.
The Moroccan daily Al Massae comes with a new turn in the whole investigation, arguing that “the sand that was used to stabilize the grass of Moulay Abdellah Stadium’s was stolen from one of the various beaches surrounding Rabat.”
