Morocco Condemns Last Terrorist Attacks in Egypt

A communiqué released today from Morocco’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that “the Kingdom of Morocco strongly condemns the terrorist attacks that targeted, on Thursday January 29th 2015, security, military and media facilities in the North of Sinai, leaving more than 30 dead and 47 wounded.”

The statement further noted that “the Kingdom of Morocco, while presenting its condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government and people of Egypt, wishes a speedy recovery to the injured and reiterates its constant, and of principle, rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism targeting the sisterly Egypt, no matter what the motivations, reasons and justifications could be.”

“The Kingdom of Morocco reaffirms that it will constantly stand by the Egyptian government and people to triumph over this dangerous scourge, and will support Egypt so that it overcomes this distress, until the establishment of security and stability in this country,” the statement closed.
