Morocco ranked last in the US-based ranking of “universities in the Arab region have shown strength in producing research in topics related to medicine.”
While King Saud university in Saudi Arabia ranked first, with a score of 100/100, the Moroccan university Université Mohammed V Agdal ranked last, with the referees even not mentioning its score as it hovered around 0/100.
It is worth reminding that the ranking takes into consideration the following fields in medecine: anatomy, dermatology, epidemiology, gastroenterology, hematology, pediatrics, surgery and urology.
