The video underneath features a Moroccan dad who has taken the very strange decision of putting both his baby daughters for sale, a move that attracted huge media attention in the country.
The man says that he is a Hawker (street vendor) and that he resorted to sell his two babies as the Moroccan authorities in the city of Taza destroyed his merchandise and “severely beat” him.
“I am very frustrated. This is too much. The authorities not only destroyed my merchandise, but they keep on persistently stalking me, suing me, and many more,” the man said.
The hawker stressed that following this turn of events, he can’t now satisfy the daily needs of his family, ergo he decided to sell his 2 daughters.
His wife, on the other hand, insisted that the slogan her husband is carrying and featuring “2 Daughters On Sale” is only “symbolic” to attract good Samaritans to the case, and that they are not intending at all to sell their daughters.
