Currently Iran is facing strong headwinds blocking its economy: sanctions that limit their oil exports, foreign investments are tightened and so on and so forth.
It is clear that with this deal, the Iranian people will be more tied to the global economy, through more quality products and services. Let’s take it for granted that once you experience “the sweet life” its hard to go back to the hard times, aka to sanction’s time.
Which means; more pressure will be on the current and future Iran Governments shoulders to keep the bonanza times (triggered by the deal) going on.
It is similar to what happened in China before and after it has opened up its economy.
Of course there are risks and a consequential one is that Iran will splash the cash (unfrozen Cash of $100 Billion) financing its proxy allies.
But without this deal the west will have no control on Iran enrichment of uranium. They will be stuck with an Iran that continues to run a big nuclear program and remains dangerous. By looking at the overall terms of the deal, now they can track/visit any suspicious installation. They hold a 10 years NO NUKES warranty from the Iranian government.
Bottom line, it is better to have an Iran closer to us through economic and cultural trade than an unbrittled Iran doing shady things in the back-office.
