Casablanca, Morocco (TMT)- An on duty policeman shot dead today at dawn time a girl in Hay Hassani, Casablanca, Morocco.
The girl was part of a gang, composed of two girls and a man, that carjacked a car belonging to a man on his way to a nearby mosque to perform Al-fajr prayer.
The policeman was patrolling the area and witnessed the last moments of the carjacking.
In the aftermath, the policeman shot with his gun two times in the air to repel the gang and ordered the gang members to stay still, something they refused.
As the gang did not follow the policeman’s instructions, he shot the girl, who passed away at the scenes.
The man and the other girl took immediately to the hijacked car and run away.
The authorities are still looking for the two criminals, still on the loose.
