Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- In his speech addressed to the 70th session of the UN General Assembly, read out last Wednesday in New York by Prince Moulay Rachid, King Mohmammed VI said that” Morocco will reject any irresponsible or risky course of action in connection with the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.”
“Indeed, many influential international powers fully realize that deceitful proposals and unrealistic plans developed inside offices cannot but represent a threat to the situation in the region,” the address of the Moroccan monarch further noted;
“I hope the United Nations Organization will press ahead with its efforts to resolve disputes through peaceful means and will remain committed to upholding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states so that peoples’ aspirations for peace, security and stability may be fulfilled,” King Mohammed VI stressed in his address to the UN.
