Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Morocco’s head of the government Abdellilah Benkirane, who was speaking at the monthly session of oral questions in the House of Representatives today, said that he ordered Mr. Rachid Belmokhtar, the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Training to cancel his plans to Frenchify some scientific subjects in Moroccan high schools.
Benkirane also said that Belmokhtar “should wait till the right time comes to tackle those big issues.”
The head of the government stressed that Belmokhtar took an unilateral decision without making any consultations with him, the head of the government.
Benkirane asked Belmokhtar to focus more on solving urgent matters, which include answering the concerns of teachers and students.
