Rabat, Morocco(TMT)- The Moroccan authorities successfully arrested the nikabi (fully veiled) woman who disfigured recently two young girls, in Morocco’s northern city of Tangier, with a razor blade.
After her arrest, the woman acknowledged the disfiguring of the two young girls, stressing that she was acting as such driven by a desire for revenge from the Moroccan judicial system.
An early investigation by the Moroccan authorities revealed that the woman had committed her crimes under the influence of drugs.
The woman acknowledged that she was under the influence of drugs but said she “knew what she was doing.” She stressed that she had brought before the Moroccan judicial system a case related to her marital issues, a case that has dragged on for so long according to the woman, which triggered her in turn to “take revenge.”
The authorities think the woman was probably also suffering from some psychological problems following her husband recently quitting her without notice.
Her husband is said to have headed to Europe in a bet to look for better life prospects.
