Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- In the wake the violence used by some police officers during various manifestations of teacher trainees across several cities in Morocco last Thursday, a wave of sympathy has befell upon Moroccans of all stripes of ages and political affiliations, in a bet to show their utmost rejection of the violence used against Morocco’s prospective teachers.

The secretary-general of the Unified Socialist Party, Nabila Mounib, as the featured image shows, joined as well the “Don’t Touch My Professor” campaign.

The campaign was started by various Moroccan social media users “to express outrage at the violence used by police officers against teacher trainees.”

It is worth reminding that the head of Morocco’s national police, Abdelattif Hammouchi said that“any police officer found guilty of the use of excessive force during those events would be sanctioned immediately.”
