Tangier, Morocco (TMT)- APM Terminals has received two new Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes, which will expand the capacity and efficiency of the TC 4 container terminal at Tanger Med II port, a statement from the company said.
The cranes can handle ships of 26 container width or containers with a capacity of up to 24,000 TEUs.
The new equipment is expected to significantly increase the capacity and efficiency of terminal operations, allowing better service to customers and improving the overall customer experience.
APM Terminals has ordered eight of these cranes for a total investment of 117 million euros as part of the expansion of the APM Terminals MedPort Tangier project.
