The Judicial Police in Casablanca apprehended Tuesday a man and a woman with previous criminal records.

They were impersonating police officers and engaging in extortion practices.

The suspects would approach drivers and then intimidate and extort money from them by posing as law enforcement officials.

During the arrest, the police discovered a counterfeit plastic firearm, handcuffs, and a sum of money believed to be obtained illegally.

Currently, the suspects are in custody, and the prosecutor’s office is conducting a thorough investigation to uncover all the details and motives related to the case.
