Law enforcement officials in Tangier, Morocco, arrested a 54-year-old man with a criminal record for organizing illegal immigration to Spain.

He set up a secret workshop to manufacture inflatable boats used by illegal immigration networks.

The operation was carried out in coordination with the national territory surveillance agency.

During the investigation, the police dismantled the workshop and seized significant equipment, including boats, engines, protective jackets, water pumps, and materials used in the manufacturing process.

They also confiscated 59 kilograms of hashish and mobile phones.

The suspect is in custody as the investigation continues to uncover further details and potential international connections related to this criminal activity.

A few days ago, another similar workshop was dismantled in Morocco’s south.
