Police Apprehend Three Individuals Involved in Car Theft in Fes

Law enforcement officials in Fes apprehended three individuals, aged between 18 and 39, suspected of being involved in car theft. One of the suspects has a prior criminal record.

The arrests were made based on information provided by the General Directorate of National Territorial Surveillance.

The investigation was initiated by the Fes police in response to reports of car wheel thefts occurring in public areas. Through diligent inquiry, two main suspects were identified and subsequently arrested. They were found in possession of mechanical tools and a stolen car, which had been taken during a previous theft in Casablanca. The third suspect was apprehended based on suspicion of his involvement in the disposal of the stolen cars wheels.

Further investigation into the suspects’ backgrounds revealed that one of them had multiple nationwide search warrants issued by the judicial police and the Royal Gendarmerie in Fes, Casablanca, and Taounate.

These warrants were related to various cases involving car theft, the use of violence, and the issuance of fraudulent checks.

Currently, the two primary suspects are being held in provisional custody, while the third suspect is undergoing a thorough judicial investigation supervised by the public prosecutor’s office.
