The CGEM hailed the decision as a victory for Moroccan and British businesses, supporting joint economic development and creating growing trade opportunities.

The source also confirmed that trade between Morocco and the UK “is now permanently protected,” adding that “this will create growing trade opportunities and provide additional value to consumers and businesses in both countries, supporting joint economic development.”

Trade between Morocco and the UK has seen an increase of 50% in Q4 2022.
