Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, has called on Moroccan economic actors and entrepreneurs to explore economic opportunities beyond the national sphere.

He emphasized the availability of the Kingdom’s embassy network to support them in prospective investment endeavors.

In a speech in the parliament yesterday, Bourita highlighted the significant role played by Morocco’s diplomatic network in promoting the country’s economic interests.

He said that over the past year, the Ministry, through its network of 105 embassies and 57 consulates worldwide, organized 172 trade missions, facilitated 145 commercial connections, and mediated in the resolution of 51 trade disputes.

Bourita also noted the signing of 95 economic agreements this year alone, bringing the cumulative total to 1,400 economic agreements covering investment, trade, and other areas.

He emphasized the availability of a network of economic advisors associated with the embassies, which, according to him, Moroccan economic actors should “utilize to their fullest advantage.”
