RABAT – The 28th iteration of the International Publishing and Book Fair (SIEL 2023) being held in Morocco’s capital has witnessed a surge in visitors, confirming its place as a keystone event in the African literary calendar.

The bustling, vibrant event saw more than 75,000 book lovers and culture enthusiasts grace its halls in the first five days – an increase of 4% compared to the same duration in the previous year.

This year’s fair is proving to be a magnificent display of literary brilliance, featuring an exceptional line-up of 661 notable Moroccan and international authors, intellectuals, and poets.

With days still left until the final curtain falls on June 11, 2023, anticipation is building for even more attendees to experience this rich fusion of ideas, cultures, and narratives.
