Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The Moroccan national football team is set to face its Ivorian counterpart next October in a friendly match, in preparation for the upcoming African Nations Cup finals. The match is set to take place in Ivory Coast.
This was confirmed by Yassin Idriss Diallo, the President of the Ivorian Football Federation, who stressed during their general assembly that their team would compete in a friendly match against the Moroccan national team on October 14 of this year.
The Moroccan national team slipped to the 13th position globally, according to the latest FIFA rankings released last Thursday. However, they still maintain the lead in Arab and African rankings, followed by Senegal.
