The Ministry of Equipment and Water in Morocco launched an extensive campaign aimed at educating citizens about the importance of conserving water.

This initiative, introduced on World Water Day, emphasizes the challenges presented by water stress and proposes practical solutions to these problems.

It also discusses the significant financial implications associated with water wastage.

The Ministry encourages Moroccans to adopt better habits, such as installing inexpensive aerators on taps that could potentially reduce water consumption by up to 50%, and washing dishes in a bowl to save up to 80%.

The aim of this campaign is to increase awareness and instill responsibility towards water, a critical national resource, among all parties – the government, different industries, and the citizens.
