2030 World Cup Investments Will Significantly Benefit Morocco: PM

During a televised interview aired on Thursday evening on channels ‘Al Oula’ and ‘2M’, Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch announced that Morocco will be sharing investments earmarked for organizing the 2030 World Cup with Spain and Portugal.

He believes that this shared investment will lead to significant benefits for the Kingdom in line with the royal vision.

Plans for the World Cup include infrastructure improvements such as road networks, hotels, healthcare institutions, and the construction of new stadiums like the Ben Slimane Grand Stadium, as well as the renovation of existing stadiums.

Akhannouch emphasized that these developments will enhance Morocco’s global image, attract more investments, tourists, and opportunities for cooperation.

He also mentioned the positive impact on the tourism sector following the performance of the Moroccan national team in the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
