Casablanca Port Wessal: A new Mega project to boost the Moroccan tourism

Casablanca Port Wessal, is a new Mega project that has been launched, in the presence of the King, to boost the Moroccan tourism sector. This project, which will cover a fair area of 12 Hectres, is mostly funded by Gulf countries and Moroccan private Banks.

Wessal project will be a new platform for high-end tourism in the economic capital of the kingdom. It will be a huge complex, with hotels and luxury residences, which can provide high level services for particular customers, such as cruise lines clients, expected in the future marina.

After the real estate project and luxury hotels in Bouregreg (Rabat), funded by UAE investments, the tourist complex of Spanish Fadesa in Saida, north Morocco, Wessal project, will confirm investments in the Moroccan tourism sector. This latter, represents nearly 12% of Morocco’s GDP and generated DH 57.5 billion  in 2013.
