According to aufaitmaroc.com, Morocco’s Royal Gendarmerie with coordination of the local authorities, has been able to seize 800 kg of Hashish at Aloukoum, some 150 km away from Tata.
Following a two hours chase, the authorities have been able to stop two vehicles and one of the traffickers, while three of his accomplices have fled.
It is important to note that since January, the Royal Gendarmerie was able to seize around 4 tonnes Hashish in the province of Tata alone.
