The Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is expected to fund the construction of five schools in rural districts in the region of Doukkala- Abda with a total investment of 68 million dirhams.
According to a statement issued by the regional academy of education and training of El Jadida, after a meeting between the director of the academy Naji Choukri and a JICA delegation, this project is part of a cooperation agreement between Morocco and the Japanese agency that has a goal of promoting education in rural areas.
These Schools will be built in the rural communities of Jabria, Oulad Rahmoun, El Kouraani , Laamamra and Sbiaat .
According to the same release, the Japanese International Cooperation Agency had already granted funding for 11 educational institutions and dorms in rural areas at the Doukkala- Abda region.
