Start of the Trials of the “ISIS-Linked” Moroccans

The National Brigade of the Judicial Police complied Thursday five individuals before the King’s attorney at the Court of Appeal of Rabat, for their suspected involvement in two cases of terrorism.

Three of the said suspects, who are from Tangier, will be prosecuted for the “constitution of a criminal gang with a goal to prepare and commit terrorist acts, the belonging to a banned religious organization, undermining Morocco’s public order through intimidation, terror and violence, and the condoning of acts of terrorism. ”

The other two individuals, one is a minor and the other does not even have a national ID card, are prosecuted for the “constitution of a criminal gang to prepare and commit terrorist acts, belonging to a banned religious organization, and the condoning of acts of terrorism.”

The 5  individuals will be brought, in the upcoming days, before the judge in charge of affairs linked to terrorism in the Sale court for the preliminary hearing.
