Morocco, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and cooperation, condemned the terrorist attack that targeted, on Saturday February 14th 2015, a cultural center and a synagogue in the Danish Capital, leaving two dead and four wounded.

A statement from Morocco’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs read that “the Kingdom of Morocco expresses its condemnation of this terrorist act, extends its condolences and compassion to the families of the two victims and wishes speedy recovery to the wounded, while expressing its solidarity with the Government and people of the Kingdom of Denmark.”

“The Kingdom of Morocco reiterates its rejection of all forms of terrorism and acts of violence related to religious extremism, no matter what the motives and no matter who the perpetrators are and calls, once more, for the need to avoid raising tensions on celestial tolerant religions, offending religious beliefs and scorning prophets and messengers,” the statement closed.
