Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The Moroccan monarch King Mohammed VI will pay Saudi Arabia a “working and fraternity” visit starting from Sunday, a statement from the Moroccan Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery said.
The visit was initially planned to take place on Wednesday, but was postponed to tomorrow, probably after the important changes the Saudi monarchy put into practice when altering the line of succession to the throne.
King Mohammed VI’s visit to Saudi Arabia will be the first one since the investiture of the new Saudi monarch Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
According to local reports, the working visit will highlight the current situation in the MENA region, especially the frail situation in Yemen.
