Morocco Condemns Terrorist Attack in Cameroun

Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Morocco condemned in the strongest terms the double terrorist attack that targeted Maroua city in the North of Cameroon, leaving dozens of casualties.

A statement from the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs read said that the “Kingdom of Morocco presents its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Cameroonian authorities and the bereaved families and expresses its solidarity with the brotherly Cameroonian people, and reiterates its firm condemnation of extremism and terrorism, in all its forms.”

“The Kingdom of Morocco reiterates its appeal to the international community to fight this scourge, which currently presents a threat to stability and to the foundations of states and societies,” the statement closed.
