Casablanca, Morocco (TMT)- The head of the Moroccan government, Abdellillah Benkirane, called upon young Moroccan engineers to get involved in politics.

Benkirane, who was speaking at “Le Grand Orale” conference held this morning in Casablanca’s École nationale supérieure d’électricité et de mécanique (ENSEM), told young Moroccan engineers that “getting involved in politics is not an easy task,” stressing that “if you think politics is an easy task, then why don’t you get involved in it, especially that most of you here are engineers, people who are used to very difficult tasks?”

“You should know that everything hinges on politics,” Benkirane told ENSEM students.

“If you are that smart, then why don’t you get involved in politics?” Benkirane wondered.
