Police in Madrid scuffled with protesters demonstrating against the Spanish monarchy, arresting one person and injuring at least eight.
Around 100 protesters had gathered in the center of the Spanish capital under the banner, “Checkmate to the King!” Police say the protesters failed to inform the authorities of their itinerary, thus making the demonstration illegal, RT reported.
