Rabat’s court of Appeal has just put an end to the dissent on Hamid Chabat’s legitimacy as Secretary General of the Istiqlal Party, by confirming the verdict of the Court of First Instance, which rejected the invalidation of his election on March 1st.
The appeal for invalidation was introduced on the 19th of October by Anas Bensouda and Hassan Hamdoune, members of both the National Council of the Istiqlal Party, and “Bila Hawada” that is led by Abdelouahed El Fassi.
