The World Bank renews its Strategic Partnership with Morocco

The World Bank has renewed its Strategic Partnership with Morocco, under which the group will increase its financial support for Morocco to reach $4 billion, for the period 2014-2017.

The World Bank Maghreb Operations director, Simon Gray commented saying “I am very pleased to inform you the approval of the new Strategic Partnership with Morocco, by the World Bank Board of Directors”. Simon added that “the financial budget of this Partnership will  increase by $1 billion per year, to reach $4 billion for the period 2014-2017”.

This Strategic Partnership with Morocco “aims at promoting a competitive and inclusive Moroccan growth while strengthening the institutional governance for better service delivery to all citizens”said Mr. Gray.
