Morocco strongly condemns the dangerous military escalation of the Israeli occupying forces against Gaza Strip and the repeated aggressions against the Palestinian people as well as the barbaric strikes that have targeted houses and targeted Palestinian civilians, having left dozens dead and a considerable number of injured people.
The Kingdom presents its condolences to the families of Palestinian victims and expresses its concern at the continuation of the assault which targets innocent civilians.
While denouncing this unjustified and unacceptable escalation of Israel, Morocco warns against the serious consequences on the efforts made so far to relaunch the peace process and the future of the entire region.
Morocco calls upon the international community to fully assume its responsibilities and take urgent action to put an immediate end to this aggression, protect the Palestinian people and preserve their rights, make Israel assume the responsibility for this blatant aggression and force it to comply with its commitments and to respect the resolutions of international legality.
