Elements of National Security and the Directorate General for Monitoring National Territory are leading investigations with the families of the young Moroccans fighting among the ranks of the Islamic State Organization, previously known as ISIS, in the cities of Tangier, Tetouan and Nador, reports Alyaoum 24.
The same source adds that the investigation involved friends of the fighters as well and not just their families by targeting the neighbourhoods where these fighters have previously lived.
This investigation has also targeted the families of the fighters that have appeared on the latest tape of the organisation after operation Mosul in Iraq, in order to gather information about them and verify their relationships to members within national territory, as well as other people who are communicating with them via internet or phone.
