- Ayelet Shaked of the ultra nationalist Jewish Home party called for the killing of Palestinian mothers few days earlier.
After that the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan compared the Israeli parliament member Ayelet Shaked to Hitler, this latter was caught saying she was “surprised” to hear those words from the Turkish Leader.
The Jewish home representative in the Knesset added that Israel is the only country in the world that warns enemies before bombing them.
On the eve of Israel’s airstrikes on Gaza, Ayelet Shaked, who in fact belongs to the ultra nationalist Jewish Home party, called for the killing of Palestinian mothers as they give rise to “little snakes.”
She posted the following on her Facebook account:
“Behind every terrorist stand dozens of men and women, without whom he could not engage in terrorism. They are all enemy combatants, and their blood shall be on all their heads. Now this also includes the mothers of the martyrs, who send them to hell with flowers and kisses. They should follow their sons, nothing would be more just. They should go, as should the physical homes in which they raised the snakes. Otherwise, more little snakes will be raised there.”
The Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan answered her in public comparing her to Hitler.
He said the following:
“An Israeli woman said Palestinian mothers should be killed, too. And she’s a member of the Israeli parliament. What is the difference between this mentality and Hitler’s?”
According to the Rutland Herald, Ayelet “is a rising star in Israeli politics. She was elected to the Knesset last year and currently holds fifth place on the Jewish Home party’s list.”
