Real Madrid agreed a terms with James Rodriguez over a £63mln from Monaco, according to Spanish daily AS.
The Madrid newspaper claims that the player has reached a verbal agreement with Real, who have demanded £63mln for the winger, who excelled during World Cup, where he finished the tournament as the top scorer with six goals, the Independent reported.
Rodriguez moved to Monaco last year for £40mln. Real already bolstered their ranks today with the £24m purchase of Toni Kroos from Bayern Munich.
Accrording to the daily Mail, “Marca claim Monaco want another €10million for Rodriguez, which would push the fee up from €75m to €85m, but that the player is already looking for a house in the city.”
Previously Rodriguez was caught saying it is a dream to play for Real Madrid.
