According to Leconomiste, milk imports in Morocco are on hike since the unveiling of 2013.
In fact, just in the last six months, the demand for milk has almost doubled compared to the same period of 2013, namely reaching 743 million dirhams currently.
The numbers include the demand for milk powder and dairy products and exclude butter and cheese products.
The aforementioned outlet says that the trend for Milk products has increased since 2013.
Last year, the volume of imported milk powder amounted to 35,000 tons, with the number representing more than one billion DH, the source closed.
