Following the recent Terrorist threats, security checks at the level of Morocco’s access points are set to be reinforced in the coming days, various local media reports said.
Security checks at the level of Morocco’s airports, especially in Casablanca, Marrakech, Tangier, Agadir and Rabat will be reinforced in the coming days. This will include as well the introduction of sophisticated equipment and the deployment of specialized police units, Le360 reported.
According to sources quoted by Le360.ma, “This arsenal is already in place but it will be further strengthened as to follow to the letters the new guidelines adopted by the Ministry of Interior and the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).”
Le 360 added that the monitoring will be even strengthened more when it comes to flights that will come from Libya, Tunisia, and various countries of Middle East.
