According to the Moroccan authorities, eight people were killed in a road accident that occurred this morning at Khmisset Chaouia, in the province of Settat.
The accident occurred at 6:00 am Moroccan time on the national road linking Settat to Marrakesh at Khmisset Chaouia, following a collision between a refrigerated truck and a Grand taxi, the Moroccan authorities added.
The seven people who were tacking the Grand taxi as well as the truck’s driver all perished following this tragedy.
Their bodies were sent to the morgue of a local hospital in Settat.
