The Group Renault-Maroc kept its ascent in the Moroccan market, through both its Renault and Dacia brands, as the “Group sold 2,985 vehicles during the month of August and thus recorded a market share of 36.6%,” Moroccan economy news outlet Leconomiste reported.
According to said source, the group has recorded a cumulative market share (including August), of 37.1%, after it sold 30,371 vehicles in Morocco now.
Dacia rocketed the sales in the Moroccan car market with 2,170 vehicles sold in August. This number represents a market share of 26.6%.

Cumulatively, Dacia sold 22,824 vehicles since its inception in Morocco, thus registering a cumulative market share of 27.9%.

Concerning the Renault brand, the company registered a market share of 10.0% in August with 815 vehicles sold.

On a sideline note, Renault has sold for the time being 547 vehicles in 2014. This number represents a cumulative market share of 9.2% for the company.
